Dan Dan Magic Man approaches magic as a teller of stories. The "tricks" have always been a vehicle to open the window of imagination. It is this magical world of make-believe that helps ignite a passion for learning and a love of reading for the 1000s of young people that have seen Dan Dan perform.
About Dan Dan the Magic Man
Dan began performing when he was just seven years old with a discarded magic set from his older brother. He soon discovered the joy of entertaining and using magic to teach and create stories.

As teachers, Dan and his wife, Kim, were looking for a way to share stories with their kids, and so the Dan Dan the Magic Man Summer Reading Programs were born. In 2001, they began with just 3 area libraries with Dan's oldest of 4 children, Kary, as his assistant. Over the years Dan has loaded up Kary, Ashtin, Patrick and Quinton to travel to up to 45 libraries each Summer, spreading the love of reading with magic. Have rabbit! Will travel!
