And that's a wrap...

31 days, 40 libraries, 43 performances, over 1000 young people...Summer Reading 2025 was about as awesome as any in our 25+ years as Dan Dan the Magic Man. A special thank you to Quin, my youngest offspring, who was magical assistant, co-writer, driver, roadie, animal handler, car d.j. and so much more. I could not have done this season without him. While he was out of town for a leadership conference (Dad Brag) I made due with Mrs. Dan Dan (my lovely and talented wife, Kim) and Dr. Ashtin Powell O.D. Having just retired from 30 years as a public school teacher, I am now embarking on a second career as a professional year-round magician. The elementary school market will be my first stop.
